Christmas observation.....sort of.

Our daughter bought my Bride one of those darn light deals that shine a zillion little red/green lights all over your whole house. I had, as usual (Humbug!), not gotten around to putting it out in the yard until about 20 minutes ago. Right after installing it, I was standing at the window in an attempt to ask my Bride if it was set where she wanted it. As I stood loudly talking through the glass a Brown Creeper lit on a Red Pine about 6 feet away. I tried to point it out to my woman, but it was uncharacteristically swift in its bark climbing, so she missed it. I went in the house soon after that and was surprised to see, out the window, the same (?) Creeper land and ascend the same tree several times in quick succession, as well as the tree next to it......that poor little bird appeared to be trying to catch those little circles of light as they twirled around! I'm not saying that's what it was doing, but that's what it was doing.

Merry Christmas everyone.
