Traveled in the thumb area yesterday, and had 3 Snowies in Tuscola Co. One was a
beautiful first year bird.

Hi everyone! :D I will post some photos from UP. I have been up every weekend since Thanksgiving! I have got some photos, but lately with no sunshine they are not the best. I am heading up very early Friday morning (2/3), hope to spend the night & photograph on Saturday too. Does not look like any sunshine again. I have seen as many as 8 different owls up there this winter. I think there are more than that, last trip saw three different white males.

Happy birding! We were up there a couple of weekends ago, ran into a photographer from Moline IL. He said they had counted as many as 30 the 2nd weekend in Jan. In the Rudyard/Pickford area. I was amazed, since we had only came up with 6 in the Rudyard/Pickford area while we were there. Have fun.
