Need help identifying this little bird.

I took some pictures of a small bird that I haven't seen. I didn't get any other profile pictures. I am in lower SW Michigan and picture was taken in September. I was thinking it was a female black-tailed Gnatcatcher from looking at pictures in my birds of North America book.

Looks like an Eastern Phoebe to me, white up onto the throat, little hint of yellow on the belly. Too bad his tail is on the other side of the fence, the "wagging" usually helps.

I believe you are correct. Usually I find a close picture in my bird book and then I go on-line for more pictures/info to help me identify the birds. When I went on-line I said yep, that is the bird. Thanks for helping me out!
