Road-killed snowy owl....

Postby Bill Grigg » Fri Nov 24, 2017 5:04 pm

A friend just dropped off a road-killed snowy owl. He found the bird just north of Rogers City today (11/24). I checked with 'Project SNOWstorm', but it seems they do not want any dead owls for further investigations. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've e-mailed the DNR, but am not holding my breath for a reply.

My thanks in advance - Bill Grigg.

Oh dear.... how sad...

I don't have any suggestions, but you might want to try messaging or emailing Deadstream.

Possible alternate is to contact your local Conservation District or nature center?

Thanks, Sandy. No local nature center here in the NE LP. I've e-mailed the DNR, but am not hopeful of a favorable reply. I was really hoping someone might have a good idea for its remains.
