Sandy, as David mentions, it is the lead story on canon rumors. Go to http://www.canonrumors.com and check it out. I checked B&H and it is not available yet. The ship date is not published yet, but as with most things Canon it will probably take a month or so after the announcement.

Just got an email from Adorama.... It is available for pre-order there.... to ship about mid-December... so I'm assuming that most other distributors are on the pre-order bandwagon too. I've only seen a couple of quick reviews on performance, and haven't checked dpreview yet. The idea of 3 IS functions is interesting, and w/built-in tripod sensor to automatically shut them off is good. I also like a twist zoom better than push-pull.
