Birds from Tanzania Trip

I've finally got a Facebook account and joined the birding site there. I think this format is much easier to look through past posts and to also see what is new, especially if you don't look at FB every day, but I guess that is the way things are moving now.

Anyway, I also have a photography page on FB if anyone is interested in following it. This is the link...

You can look at the photos even if you don't have a FB account, but if you do have one, please feel free to follow my page and share anything I post.

Here are some birds from my recent trip to Tanzania in late January and early February. I noticed if you click on the photo they actually show sharper than right in the post.

Lilac-brested Roller-4810.jpg
This was such a beautiful bird. I probably saw a dozen plus at the first place we stayed.

Took this photo of the Long-crested Eagle as the sun was setting and his eyes almost glowed.

This was the smallest of the 8 different eagles we saw on the trip

Supurb Starling-6060.jpg
Sure wish our Starlings looked like this. When they fly the iridescence of the blue wings is something to see.

I hope you enjoy the photos and have a great weekend.

Take Care and Stay Focused,
Mike
